Hello Southwest Florida, our names are Kevin and Wayne Offerman and we started our auto repair shop with the goal in mind of becoming the best car repair shop in Fort Myers.  Our automotive repair facility has been fortunate enough to serve the Ft. Myers and Cape Coral communities since 2005.  Over the past 6 years in business we’ve built one of Lee County’s preferred providers of auto repair, service, and maintenance and we would personally like to invite everyone to experience the difference our shop provides to its clients.

One of the most important aspects of our daily lives is our vehicle.  We understand car trouble is one of the most inconvenient problems any of us can have.  Also, we realize people want to go to a clean, upbeat, and reputable auto repair shop where people are smiling and having fun.  When you enter our repair shop, you become part of our family.  We perform repairs and maintenance on most cars and light trucks.  Our team of professionals is trained and certified in the ever-changing world of automotive technology.  We are also an ASE Blue Seal Recognized Shop.  We’re dedicated to providing maximum reliability and performance to all of our customers’ cars.  Along with being your source for auto repair, we are also a full service tire dealer and installer.  Our top-of-the-line tire installation and balancing equipment paired with our digital alignment system provide superior ride quality.

Our goal each time you come to see us is to give you the best car repair experience that you can imagine.  We have put together a short list of some of the reasons that our clients have told us that they have been returning to our repair shop and why they have that comfortable feeling when referring family and friends to Offerman Automotive, Inc.

1.  Our clients know that we have competent technicians working on their vehicle. We employ ASE Certified Technicians.  Our technicians love what they do and are constantly involved in continuous education via seminars, classes, webinars, testing, and more.  Our Service Writers are ASE Certified Parts Specialists as well as being ASE Certified Service Consultants.

2. We have a 2 year/24,000 mile warranty on most automotive repairs. Yes, that is parts and labor. We install the best parts and we expect them to last. If we are not always spending time replacing bad parts, we can afford to keep costs down.

3. We will drop you off and pick you up for your convenience. We will drive you to work, back home, or wherever you’d like, within reason of course (by appointment, please).  This also gives us a chance to go over any weird noises and/or conditions in your car, with you.

4. We offer a Car Care Club Membership which entitles members to FREE oil changes & tire rotations, FREE wiper blades, huge discounts on maintenance & repairs, and an incredible 3 year/36,000 mile warranty on most automotive repairs.

Our 10 step process we implement every day to every job:

  1. We listen to your requests and concerns regarding your vehicle, very carefully.  Please feel free to try to duplicate any noises you’re hearing and/or describe any weird shaking, vibrations, etc.  We will ask you questions concerning the described symptoms.  Some of our questions will make little or no sense but it all helps us determine the quickest way to go about your car’s repair.  We will also confirm and/or update your personal contact information to be sure you receive all of our latest news and discount offerings.
  2. Sometimes, we will ask to look at the vehicle with you.  We may ask to go for a ride with you or simply show you something once the car is lifted up inside the shop.  Communication and transparency are critical in this, and in any other business.
  3. After the paperwork and initial communication steps are taken, we will arrange for you, a ride home, back to work, or any other destination, within reason of course.  If necessary, we will have your vehicle towed in and/or arrange a rental car for you while repairs are being performed.
  4. Our Shop Manager/Lead Technician will examine your repair order to match it with the most suitable technician for the job.
  5. Initial inspection and/or test driving will begin the diagnostic process.  We will focus on the primary complaint and take the necessary steps to resolve it.  Our team is also trained to spot any other needed repairs and/or maintenance for your safety and the life of your car. 
  6. Upon completing our diagnostics testing, we will put together an estimate to repair as well as any other recommendations whether it is necessary repair or suggested maintenance for future visits.
  7. At this time, we will contact you with an estimate and/or our recommendations.  No repairs will begin until we have your approval.  In order for you to feel totally comfortable, we will explain in great detail what is going on with your car.  We can even email or text you pictures showing broken or worn parts to help you feel totally in control of your repair order.  It’ your car and it’s your decision!
  8. Only after your approval, will our expert technicians be handed an updated repair order and estimated time of completion to fix your car and get you back on the road.
  9. Upon completion of the repair, the same technician that initially test drove the car and performed the repair will test drive it again, confirming the job is complete.

  10.  At this time, one of our Certified Service Consultants will go over the car     once again, document the “out” mileage, clean off any pesky fingerprints, remove the paper floor mat (we didn’t think you wanted it left in there), & make sure your paperwork is in order, and call you to let you know your car is ready.  If you need a ride, please don’t hesitate to ask.  We will be happy to come pick you up!
